Brock Commons Phase 1 - Tallwood House

The Brock Commons Tallwood House is an innovative and sustainable new student residence, currently the tallest contemporary hybrid mass timber building in the world at 18-storeys (54m). It provides 404 beds for upper year students in studio and quad suite accommodations, as well social lounges and a collegium for commuter students. The project is part of the UBC Campus as a Living Lab initiative with UBC faculty and students undertaking research on the design, construction and on-going performance of this unique building.
